What this site is
Digital Towns publishes a reference library about individual towns, starting in Florida (Sebastian, Vero Beach, Melbourne, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Miami, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville and Tallahassee) and Arizona. Each town section covers its government and services, history, parks, wildlife, schools, safety and hurricanes, economy, real estate and the practical questions residents and visitors ask.
Every article answers one question, states the short answer first and cites the public records, agencies and published reporting behind each fact. Pages are free to read and need no account.
Who publishes it
The library is published by Digital Towns, the same company that runs Digital Towns Market, an online store for collectibles, plants and other goods. Articles do not sell anything: a small, labeled link to the Market appears around the article, never inside the reference text, and no business pays to appear in an article.
How the articles are made
Articles are researched and drafted with AI assistance and then held to a published, automated quality gate before anything goes live: a minimum length, a minimum number of facts each checked word for word against the cited source, a minimum number of sources, and a check against copying between towns. The full process is described on the methodology page, and the rules for which sources count are on the sources page.
Corrections and contact
A wrong date, a changed fee, a renamed park or an official who has left office: corrections are welcome at [email protected]. Please name the page and, where possible, the official source that shows the current fact. Corrected pages carry a new "last updated" date.
