Digital Towns launches in Florida first with the Genesis promotion. The Pioneer Program is for markets outside Florida that aren't live yet. It's how new towns get started in new states and regions.
If your area isn't on the network yet, you can be the person who makes it happen. Sign up, share your referral link with neighbors, and once your area reaches critical mass, your town activates and giveaways begin.

Claim Pioneer Status
Sign up at digitaltowns.app with your ZIP code. You'll be assigned to your area automatically. Only 5 Pioneer slots per town.

Refer 20 Neighbors
Share your referral link. Each verified signup from your area counts toward your 20. Once your town goes live, referral bonuses kick in.

Town Activates
When your area reaches enough signups, your town goes live with its own giveaways. You earn a founding plot in your town — plot holders get 2x entries in all future giveaways.

What Pioneers Earn
Founding Virtual Land Plot
Each Pioneer who completes the 20-referral requirement earns a founding plot in their town. Plot holders get 2x entries in all future giveaways in their town and across the network.
Only 5 Pioneer slots exist per town. First come, first served. These plots are specific to your Pioneer town — they are separate from the Genesis promotion plots in Florida.
Referral Entry Bonus
Once your town activates, every verified referral earns you 5 bonus giveaway entries. Referral bonuses begin when your town goes live and giveaways start running — not before.
Founding Member Status
Pioneers are recognized as founding members of their town. You get early access to every feature that launches in your town.
For Florida
Already in Florida?
The Pioneer Program does not apply to Florida. Florida towns are part of the Genesis promotion, which has its own giveaway structure, founding plots, and entry system.
If you're in Florida, just sign up at the home page with your ZIP code — you'll be automatically entered in your town's daily giveaway. No Pioneer steps needed.

Common Questions
How do I know if my town has Pioneer slots left?
Sign up with your ZIP code. If your town is forming and Pioneer slots are available, you'll see the option on your Genesis page.
What if my town already has 5 Pioneers?
You can still sign up and refer neighbors. You won't get the founding plot, but your referrals help your town activate sooner. Once it's live, you'll get referral entry bonuses.
Do referrals have to be from my town?
Referrals count from anywhere, but for Pioneer status the 20 referrals should be from your local area to help your town reach activation.
Is the Pioneer Program free?
Yes. No purchase necessary. Signing up, referring, and claiming Pioneer status are all free.
Does the Pioneer Program apply to Florida?
No. Florida is covered by the Genesis promotion with its own giveaway system and founding plots. The Pioneer Program is for new markets outside Florida.
When does the Pioneer Program end?
The Pioneer Program is open-ended. As Digital Towns expands to new states and regions, Pioneer slots open for each new market.
